and You Could Win $500 for Yourself, Your Group, or Organization!

The Health Education Directory (HEDIR) and Walden University seek to recognize health educators, faculty, and/or and students who are utilizing technology (e.g. social media; web 2.0) in the field of health education. Do you have an innovative idea, example or case study to share with our profession? As an individual or group, submit screen shots, video and/or video links, along with a one-page written summary, to Dr. Jody Early (jody.early@waldenu.edu) for a chance to win recognition and a $500 prize. Note the following:
• Entries (individual or group) accepted from September 1, 2010–March 1, 2011.
• Up to ten finalists will be selected by an expert panel.
• Finalists will be showcased on the HEDIR Blog beginning in March 2011.
• HEDIR Blog subscribers, along with an expert panel, will vote for the winner.
• The Winner will be announced in March, prior to the AAHPERD Convention in San Diego.
• A prize of $500 (sponsored by Walden University) will be awarded to the winner.
• The winner will also earn a spotlight at the HEDIR Technology forum in 2011 and on the HEDIR Blog and/or Facebook page.
